Make with Walnut and wicker. I was looking for a way to make large pieces with small pieces of wood. The answer was to add wicker. The lid made up of the a ring around the middle, the finial and the wicker between the two. This piece is 18" tall.
About 14 inches diameter. From transitional zone of English-to-black walnut grafted tree. Textured interior a combination of hand carved and die-grinding with ball-end cutter.
