Could those rings be fiber compression from the heel of the gouge you used to turn into the bottom of the neck? -
Small Pear VaceNotice the ring around where the neck starts to narrow? I'm not sure what that is but is showed up after the hollowing when I was working on the neck. Looks like a stain but I'm clueless. Thoughts? -
