Its ranges from 1/8” to 1/4”. I’ve done about 12 hollow forms and the thin one are really light so I try to taper the bottom to 1/4” to give a little weight to sit on the table.

Thanks,Alan. This one was bleached first ( didn’t make a huge difference) , then dyed using royal blue dye from Chestnut Spirit stains, then sanded back a bit. Next I dabbed it with a wadded paper towel and yellow dye which got me the green color. Finally finished with Minwax brand spray lacquer...
