I’ve done a couple like this. Watched Glen Lucas turn a bead on a bowl or platter a couple years ago. I bet I stopped and started the video 10 times to watch the tool presentation on the bead

Lighthouse LampThank you Marie! The foam board is real dense but very easy to carve using a Filet & Xacto knife. I then sealed with Minwax Polycrylic, then painted with acrylics. -
