Odie, I do not think of them as rules but preferences. An artist knows all of the preferences imposed by others but knows when to disregard them. In the silly stuff I like to do, you will find balance but never the golden mean.

Okay....."preferences" is probably a better word to use here, as "rules" implies rigidity. I have my own preferences, and they are from time to time, flexible.

Ahhhh, preferences, AKA, the comfort zone!!

I’m curious as to why my comfort zone almost always grows to become more uncomfortable!

I find myself constantly searching for “peace of mind”; trying to jettison past, learned disabilities (maybe?). I suppose my segmenting/ woodturning is mimicking this journey as well!!

“Change/ answers is growth”……..right????

I will say, it is a very entertaining show to be a part of!!
