Maple bowl that has been carved, dyed and embellished with pyrography inside and outside. Bowl measures 5" X 7".

This bowl is a very old maple burl that was very dry. I had to stabalize the entire piece with thin CA. It was like a sponge!

Big Leaf Maple bowl. The outside of the bowl was textured with a ball peen hammer and burnt with a propane torch. Finished with danish oil. Approx. 6" diameter.

This is a piece of maple burl that measures about 6" long by 4" wide. Eggs are turned from cocobolo.
