This hollow form/vase is made from a single piece of old growth Spalted Curly Ambrosia Maple and segmented with Walnut veneer.
It is 6 3/8 inches tall by 4 1/4 inches in diameter.
The finish is shellac and wax.

The vessel is three sided using three centres top and bottom.
It has a Greek influence for Greek category in an exhibition coming up in September.
The copper handles are turned on the lathe then bent and a patina added...
Tasmanian Rose Myrtle and Macassar Ebony, size is 8" dia x 10" tall. Finished with Danish oil, hand rubbed with 0000 steel wool and buffed with white diamond and carnauba wax.
The woods used on this piece are Mexican Cocobolo and Macassar Ebony. The size is 3" dia x 7" tall. The finial and collar are one piece and removable. The piece was finished without any oil. Simply hand rubbed with 0000 steel wool after final sanding and buffed without any wax.
