    Tasmanian Eucalyptus Burl, 5" dia x 8" tall. Finished with Danish oil and buffed with white diamond followed by carnauba wax.

    This is an ash hollow form measuring 8 3/4 inches tall by 9 inches in diameter (ratio = 0.97). ie somewhat taller than ash pots of similar shape which I have previously posted. Antique Oil finish.

    This is another piece (10"w x 6"h) from the Benicia Camphor harvested in August 2004. The aroma from the camphor is captured within through the used of the collar. Great piece to pick up and sniff.

    This 8"w x 6"h vessel was made from an Oakland, CA. walnut tree that was removed. After turning and finishing, the outer surface was pyrographically embellished. The finishing detail was an ebony collar.

    Some very special camphor trees were removed from 1st Street in Benicia, California. We rescued the trunks and this is one of many pieces in the works from the wood. This is a great shape for camphor; the very aromatic fragrance is captured with the vessel.

    This 10"w x 5.5"h hollow vessel is from the very special camphor trees removed from 1st in Benicia, CA. The collar is of Ipe, with the designed burned in. (by the way, i was really hungry turninig this piece and it shows...it's shape is exactly like a loaf of french bread)

    8"D x 5"H. This piece has great spider shaped cracks at the pith. It was given as a 50th wedding anniversary gift to a relative from who's property I got the wood. The cracks are filled with ebony sanding dust and CA.
