This cedar has some very vivid coloring. Don't you think?

    Quilted Cherry Bowl

This was a beautiful piece of cherry that reminded me of quilted maple.
  3. Steep-Sided Red Eucalyptus Bowl

    Steep-Sided Red Eucalyptus Bowl

This piece of red eucalyptus can't decide if it's a bowl or a vase, but it's about 7" wide by 5 1/2" tall. The walls are about 3/16" thick (tapering to a rounded bottom on the inside). I burned the rim just to highlight the thinness of the rim. Antique Oil and spray lacquer...

    Twining

Cedar, jute, brass, 9.5d x 3.375t I was unable to find cord of the diameter I desired, so I twisted my own from jute twine. The interesting fact here - it required 13 feet of twine to make the four strand cord circling this small piece.
