This is a beautiful and unusually colored piece of black locust with sapwood. The yellow sapwood is not stained! The lid and foot are made of cherry that was tinted for more contrast.

Black Walnut rough turned green, seasoned, finish turned, fluted and finished with sanding sealer between 180 - 400 grit, 3 coats of Waterlox and buffed with Beall system. Grain was quite unique for the piece. 7" dia x 6" high.
