Attributes
White & black = 11.5d x 9.5t, white & tan = 11.5d x 10.5t

Attributes is the result of a collaborative effort between Andrea Tucker-Hody and myself. We prepared these for an upcoming show here in Marin County (CA). Andrea is a master paper artist and she used my sycamore vessel (the inset photo in the upper left) as a form to hand cast these two attribute vessels. I then turned the plinths and attached them to complete the presentation.

Andrea incorporated natural fibers into these. The white and tan vessel has camel hair and flax while the white and black one has linen and silk. I use bay for the plinth on the tan vessel and black walnut (dyed) for the black one. The inset photo in the upper right shows a detail of the silver and 24k gold leaf figure she applied to the interior of the tan form.
I absolutely love these pieces. Good luck at your show. I think this shows us that teaming up with artists of other mediums can expand our knowledge, imagination, and skills.
