Size = 22"wide by 12" high. A large rare burl of choke cherry with a figure of Jesus weeping inside. This is a fine wood to turn and was a fun project. Water white lacquer hand rubbed with wax finish.

6 1/2" high, 2 1/2" dia. base. Turned on an eccentric chuck adapter of my design and construction, which bolts to a 4-jaw scroll chuck. The base is filled with lead shot.

Box Elder, 6" high and 2" diameter at base.

A SheOak box with a raised diamond pattern on the body. The diamonds are produced by cutting right hand spirals, then overlaying left hand spirals.

A mesquite box with Pink Ivory inlay in top. A basket weave pattern has been cut into the body.

A ornamental rosette has been engraved into the lid.

Moridillo box with brass lids. There is a sinewave pattern around the length of the box.

Cocobolo box with Snakewood finial.
