    Lately I've been using this simple vase form to try out the effect of various embellishments such as the spacing of flutes, dyeing, bleaching, sandblasting, liming etc. These are all ash and are about 10 inches tall.

    This is an ash vessel which measures 7 1/4 inches tall. It was hollowed, fluted and then textured with a steel brush.

    This is an ash vase which measures 9 3/4 inches tall by 7 5/8 inches in diameter. It has 16 rounded over flutes.

    This hollow form is about 10 inches tall and has 16 routed flutes.

    This white poplar vase measures 6 5/8 inches by 10 5/8. It has 18 spiral flutes and was dyed with aniline dyes.
