This is an interesting series. Going back in your album, I can see how this series developed and evolved.
This one is my favorite. Very nice form and the fluting really works with the grain. I like this one the best because the color is more vivid.
I love these pieces with liming wax. I want to try it first on a large, scalloped elm bowl. Can you tell me: Should I dye the bowl first, then apply the liming wax? And, can I finish with lacquer? Can I finish with shellac?
