The Holly From Hell

The Holly From Hell

This is a bleached holly footed vessel that is 12” tall and 8.5” in diameter. It is finished with wipe on poly. The title for this piece is “The Holly From Hell” and the reason is as follows. After bleaching to a very light tone I proceeded to choose the wrong finish which had to be completely sanded off and a new finish applied. A lesson was learned and the next time I'll test the waters before plunging in.
