Ray

The piece is made to resemble a Ray with an emphasis to resemble this eccentric sea creature. It's made from Maple with a size of 8"*8"and the finial also rises to a height of 8". After I found the center of the square I made a tenon on both sides of the piece. After that I made it into a small bowl on the outsides of both sides, after which I cut the wings and the rest of the outside shape sideways in a V pattern in line with the full shape of the bowl. Afterwards I hollowed out the center. Finally, using a saw, I cut the two of the wings on one side of the bowl and the opposite two win
