Family-size tin canReally cool. I'd love to know more about the process on the form. Is this an assemblage, or is the top cut free from the sides in some places before warping/manipulating. What does the back side look like? Really intriguing form, and of course your surface treatment is incredible. -
A Little OffNo, I turned the outside first. The approach is to drill two holes for the screw chuck, with the second hole offset from the center. A Little OffSo... I'm guessing you reversed the typical process and turned the inside first, then used some type of off-center jam chuck to turn the outside. I can't think of a way to do it the other way around - outside and then inside.
