Pierced Holly Bowl - Overlapping Rings

My fifth pierced bowl. This one is 7 1/4” x 2 1/4”. I originally used a pyrography pen to outline where the rings intersected, trying to create an over-under impression, but didn’t like the effect, so I put it back on the lathe, took a deep breath, and sanded them off. I think I did the right thing in the end.
Nice pattern, Lou. Love the progression with each new piece. And yes, I think you did the right thing too.
