A Deeper CutLike you, Steve, I find the piece unsettling. That sharp upward angled, spear point-like corner grabs my attention, uncomfortably. It's not a folksy, warm, homey piece. The reversed angle of the foot, also drew my attention, and I suspect that may not have been intentional.
