Candy Dish

Here's a shot of my latest negative design, I'm calling a candy dish. It is very hard to show it off with one photo but I am not sure how to post more than one photo within this forum. I will place some other photos in my galleys should you want to take a look.
It has been suggested that there are several things I could do to improve this piece. I continue to learn by doing, and try to incorporate new ideas and suggested improvements as I progress.
Thanks for looking
Hey Odie. Thanks for the comment. Let's see . . .
The top overpowers the bottom(and I AM talking about this dish)
The knob is too big
The knob doesn't compliment the top
The color of the bowl doesn't go with the top
The shape of the bowl doesn't fit with the top
I think it's one of those pieces that looks quite different in a photo as compared to if you were holding it.

Pete......I guess I can understand why some of those comments were made, but you are the artist, not them......and, opinions don't matter to anyone else but you, and the person who eventually will have it in their home. It's easy to get discouraged by others, but the comments are made from another's point of view. I may have done things differently, but I am not you.

Give that to someone you know, and they'll be grateful to have such a beautiful piece.
