Mr Gother's vase

This is a vase I did for my son's band director. It was all woodburned. The top finial is Holly that was carved and dyed black. The body of the conductor was also dyed black with shoe dye.
Nice Job! I like the perspective on the cunductor in combination with the form of the vase. How did you keep the size of the notes so consistant?

I made a round "note" burning tool out of a cheap woodburner that I bought at Lowes. I simply ground and filed the brass tip to shape. All the flags and stems were made by hand using my Optima burner with various tips.
The whole notes and half notes were made using homemade tip that I shaped like a squashed U. I simply did 2 burns to create the note shape.
