A piece of mesquite that survived several attempts of me trying to use it for something other than a pleasant, decorative vessel. I turned and hollowed it and left a couple of nubbins at the rim to attach the upcoming handle. I originally left the surface smooth but after looking at the voids, my hammered steel bail and lid decided that a more textured surface fit better so off to the Rotary Chisel Spa (101A profile) for a good scratching. The steel parts have been chemicalized and a NIP branch piece provided a lid pull. 7" x 4-1/2". Thank you for looking!
