Black Cherry bowl and White Oak base. This was my second big project during my foot recovery (alongside the cherry bowl I previously posted), and was also my submission for the SWT deconstruct/construct challenge. I am a little out of my element there, but this was a fun way to contribute. I pyro-textured the interior of a natural edge bowl, cut it apart with a coping saw and a scrollsaw, pyro-textured the edges of the pieces, and then re-assembled via copper wire. The base is carved, burned, pyro textured, and sanded. 6" x 6.75" x 4.5".
