Black and White Ebony Bell Box

Black and White Ebony Bell Box

Black and White Ebony box in a new style shape. I am trying to develop new shapes other then the straight sided boxes. This box has a slight undercut lid. The wood is incredible to turn and with sharp tools really does not need much sanding. Turned, hollowed and finished with gloss lacquer. 2.25" in diameter and 2" tall. This is the left over piece from the Capsule Box I made last month.
great shape and matching the grain. Really nice.

Great form on this one Gabriel! Given its size, you must have the tiniest flat spot on the bottom for stability. Love it—once again the box master strikes! :)
