Coloured mills.
I

Coloured mills.

Body is beech. Carved with a reciprocal carver then airbrushed black. Surface then skimmed with a skew to leave just the grooves black. Then randomly coloured using spirit stains dabbed on and then cut back with wire wool to soften and merge colours.
Top is anjan.
Neat idea for mills. One of these days I'm going to have to make me some, and this is a design I might have to try. Thanks for sharing, Ian.
