Big Top

This big boy (and matching stand) are made from Boxwood, measuring about 5" x 7.5", hollowed out and weighing in at 386 grams (13.6 ounces), with twelve cast epoxy resin 3/4" diameter cabochons embedded in the wood, a poker chip for the lid/button and 8 feet of cord stored inside.
Thanks Bill. Many of the top players I know of are in the 10 to 15 age range, but there are loads of oldsters 60 and up who still spin. It was more of a "thing" back in the 1950's and 60's...and like woodturning, what you did as a kid often comes back to you in retirement.
