Pop Reject. My entry to POP , (Elements), which did not make the cut. Yew Bowl, Pierced with metal cogs, pyrography and rust finish. 130mm diameter x 110mm high
It's always hard to understand what a juror sees or doesn't see in the difficult task of deciding what makes it into a show and what goes home. As mind boggling as this piece is, it might be even more mind boggling to me that it didn't make the cut. Absolutely beautiful!
 
I agree with Curt. I think it's excellent. Maybe the juror was too young to know that clocks and most other things in the world were once mechanical devices. :D
