Jan's Bowl - Top view

This is a piece that I had turned a while back. I decided to dress it up a bit as my boss wanted to give it to his mother in law (she's a big fan of my work) for a Christmas present. I think the piercing did the piece a world of good and she loved it.

Ash. 6.125"d x 3.5"h. Finishing oil. Turned, carved and Pierced.

Happy New Year to you all!!!

C & C welcome. Thanks for having a look.
~Steve
I have to say, this is a real eye catcher Steve! I'm amazed it hasn't drawn a comment! I say Bravo!!!

Hi Bill, Thank you very much! No, I don't use any pattern for the piercing, aside from the initial outline design that I draw on the piece, all of the piercing itself is done freehand.
