1961 Red Mallee Burl.

1961 Red Mallee Burl, finished 3/1/2022, Initial bowl block had a MC of 18% and after roughing, it took a total of 10 months to stabilize. 7" x 3 3/16", 1 lb 0.4 oz. Sanded to 600gt, Danish Oil Natural, Beall 3-step buff. There was a natural edge in the block, and I intended to include it in the finished bowl. Also has an undercut rim that was tricky to keep from overlapping the natural burl edge...
