wood chip crisis

Wood chips and carpet

Ed,
I don't have this issue as living in Florida and having cats, kids and being the neighborhood house we tiled the house a long time ago. Gene Gross, an AAW member in central Fl does have this problem and he's found a legging solution that is cost effective and allows him to wear what ever foot wear he wants. I'll try to get hold of him this week and find out where he gets them if you still are looking.

I double dog dare anyone out there to post a picture of themselves in either/both of these two solutions.😉

Spandex: You know you want it, Curt. 😛 Wood chips slide right off, and the ladies dig it, too.

I wear Levis year-round. (I don't do the shorts thing to avoid frightening the neighborhood children). My go-to turning shoes are Ugg boot knockoffs. Put my pants legs over the outside of the boot, and no chips or dust in the socks. Plus, it feels like I'm wearing slippers in the shop, but still have some protection from dropped sharp things.
