3 phase 1 HP Induction Motor & TECO Power Inverter. The inverter allows the AC motor to operate on 220/440 single or three phase power, and allows for variable speed from 0 to 1720 rpm in either direction with maximun power throughout the entire speed range. This set-up is ideal for a wood lathe, bandsaw or other power tool. Both items are in like new condition.

Dimensions:

Motor = 7" high by 13" overall length (shaft = 2 7/8" X 5/8" dia. w/keyway)

Inverter = 6 1/4" tall X 4 1/8" wide X 5" deep

For less than $300

I have been quoted for a 1.5 HP & VFD ready to go $600 + tax.

Is this a good combination for my Delta lathe? This motor has a 5/8 shaft so will fit my pulley

I did get the lathe running with the Tread mill motor but am concerned if it will hold up & not being able to change out the the pulley on either the motor or lathe. The motor has a flat belt & the lathe a V Belt.

Bart you will be much happier with that than the treadmill motor. If it's all ready to hook up a few wires and go I'd jump on it.
