I would expect in the 'safety precautions' they would say to keep feet well away from that cable coil attached to the machine...... I think I want one....

Be nice it if worked on something besides larch. That would also make a good elevator for deer stand.
I would put my deer stand on top of it. Climbing up with all the gear is always hard. To pass the time you could up and down ...

There is an electric operated deer stand. Saw it at a Quality Deer Management Association show a few years ago. Mounts on a small trailer, move to the tree, hook it up and go up. Like an elevator.
