Awhile back, I posted a question about what tool to use for turning a groove in the rim of a platter or bowl - I was using a point tool and getting too much tear-out, etc. Emiliano Archaval suggested this:

which I tried and it works very well. It'll cut a nice even groove, no tear-out, and you can roll beads with it by just rolling to either side of the groove. Thanks, Emiliano!
