John I don't think I was trying to be overly important, whatever that means. I just wanted to to do a good job. I feel the people attending the demos deserve the best you can give them. Maybe sometimes I take that too seriously and push myself too hard, particularly since I do this in my spare time. Still the AAW has meant a lot to me as well as turning in general so I want to do what I can to give back to my fellow turners. I think that is how all of the members of the board and other volunteers feel also. We should be doing our best to try and help them.

Offer still stands

John You forget that I work a more than full time job plus turning to make a second income. That doesn't leave a lot of time. I

As another working slob I know just how you feel. If I could muster 48 hours in each day I might be able to catch up.

That said, I am still more than willing to assist you and any other demonstrator with handouts. Gimme an outline of the demo and any photos of the process. If you're located within a reasonable distance, I'll come photograph/record the demo.

I'll put a handout together for you. If I record your demo I'll process the video and give that to you.

I'm putting the final polish on Cindy Drozda & David Nittmann's demo video. Give her a month or two to digest it while running all over teaching, and ask how she liked it.

I'm working on Nick Agar's next, but not happy with the audio. My better half decided it was a good time to eat a bag of grapes so you can hear the plastic moving🙄

Payment? Not really a big issue. I devour all things turning, so if I get to watch your demo and absorb your knowledge, that is payment enough. Toss a demo piece my way if you're feeling particularly generous😀
