Hi, I'd like to try out a hollowing tools with the curved neck. If anyone's got one they've had lying around out of use and would be willing to part ways with it, I'm interested in working out something.

Are you possibly interested in a Jamison hollowing system? This has three tool bars, two with swan necks. They are 3/4" diameter, extra bits and sharpening jig included.
The system originally comes with a laser but has been converted to use a video camera.

Sorry, but that would likely be more than a bit out of my price range at the moment. I'm not looking to go all in on a hollowing rig just yet. I was thinking of a tool more along the lines of the (other) John Jordan's hollowing tools. I probably should have specified that more in the original post.
No problem, but you might be surprised. I bought the rig used from a friend and will sell it for what I have in it.
I also have a set of the 1/2” John Jordan hollowing tools, handles, and the arm brace handle. At my age I don’t need all those hollowing options but I’d rather keep the individual tools and get rid of the Jamison rig. Also, I found I prefer the various Hunter swan-neck tools - I find it’s easier to get a nice inside surface once I learned how. Excellent for the inside of bowls with a bit of undercut at the rim, too, and any forms you can see and feel the inside.
If you know anyone in your area with these, maybe you can try them. As usual, a lot depends on the type and sizes of what you like/want to turn.
