Johannes Michelson (The Hat Man) has a new line of woodturning tools. In celebration of that activity, Woodturningonline.com is conducting a drawing where the winner receives a new "Hannes Tool" 3/8 bowl gouge. Hey,it don't cost nothin' to enter and I can always use a bowl gouge.
If you're interested in the event, take a look at http://www.woodturningonline.com/december-2007-raffle.html to register for the drawing.:cool2:

Well somebody should write "Naw, I want a Jockey Bowl Gouge". But not me. I would not write that. No way.

Edit: Sure, I'd like to win a new Hannes bowl gouge.

Me, I think I'd like a 'Fruit of the Loom' bowl gouge :D

Seriously, though, I have that very bowl gouge -- the 3/8 in the Hannes handle, and that is one sweet tool. The handle fits perfectly in your hand, and is superbly balanced. If you've ever held a very fine writing instrument in your hand -- like a Mont Blanc or Pelikan pen -- or one of Angelo's pens ;) -- you'll know what I'm talking about.

Hope I win --- you can never have too many turning tools.

That Hannes gouge is going to make a very nice addition to my tool collection. Thanks for the heads-up
