The Signature Gallery was a group of stores in Connecticut and Massachusetts, the last of which closed this past summer. Many artists (at least a dozen, if not many more) were not paid for their work, which was never returned. I am looking for people who were so treated and for people who have both expertise in "fine art" and familiarity with the Signature Galleries.
On behalf of a woodturner whose work was not returned, I am presently pursuing a lawsuit against the Signature Galleries and its owner. It is important that we are able to establish that the Signature Galleries were "fine art" galleries. It would be helpful to have a sense of the scope of the losses. Any input will be appreciated.
