Newbie here. Are the Korpro cutters/cartridges for use with any particular coring system? Which coring system are you using if I may ask.

I have a lot of Mike Hunter's tools and there is not a mistake in any of them. When Mike brings out a tool you can take it to the bank that it works.
My wife just gave me the set of locking handles from Glen Lucas for the Oneway Coring System. These handles replace the hold down bolts. No more wrench to get lost or slip. Lucas has a video on U Tube. Great addition to the coring jig.
Yes, it only fits the Oneway coring system.
I would like to have a set of those handles. I did replace the aluminum handles on the knives with a longer wood handle as Glen suggested. That was a big improvement using the Oneway cutters as it reduced vibration. Don't know how much difference it will make with the Korpro.
Mike Hunter did do a replacement tip for one of my McNaughton blades. Pretty much the same square cutter that is on the Oneway system. It worked fine. It did not solve the problem with the blades where the last inch or so goes straight and doesn't follow the arc of the circle. If Kel would fix that, he would make his system much easier to use. I am guessing that the expense of Mike's cutter on the Oneway is making a holder for the cutter that fits those micro grooves on the Oneway blade.

I just sell my curly Koa natural edge bowls that you have probably seen on my Instagram account maui_woodturner. I paid the full set Oneway coring system with the first 2 coring jobs. One of the perks of living in HawaiiThis thread costs me money....

I just finished coring 12 Black Cherry blanks 21" in diameter. I got 3 bowls out of each. The center solid core I give to members of our club( Charlestowne Woodturners) who have smaller lathes. What I noticed in using the Korpro bits is that the tip is slightly wider than the body of the holder giving a wider kerf. This extra clearance makes it easy to position the support finger without binding.
