Found this hollowing tool a quite a while back at a used tool / junk shop. They had no idea who made it or even how it was intended to be used. The tool doesn’t display any branding or other identification markings.
The cutting tip is articulated, and the large cylinder on the tool shaft and be moved and locked into place, presumably as a counterweight or handhold (?).
I have other hollowing tools that I had enough experience with to be comfortable and reasonably proficient with, so it hasn’t seen much use (though the articulated cutting tip has occasionally come in handy for cutting certain curves on the inside surface just beyond the opening).
I’ve attached a few photos, and am hoping someone here might recognize the tool.
