Goodbye Conversations, Hello Direct Messages!

One of the more noticeable changes with the latest forum software update is the rather stilted term "Conversations" is now called "Direct Messages". "Conversations" was the XenForo equivalent of vBulletin’s "Private Messages". Direct Messages is a more accurate term than Private Messages which could be incorrectly interpreted as having some degree of secure messaging.

I believe that the term "Private Message" is a trademark or copyright of Internet Brands, the parent company of vBulletin.

It’s nothing more than a name change so all previous Conversations are now called Direct Messages.

Odd, should be able to I would think.. but maybe something the admins such as @Bill Boehme have to clean up, looks like you joined many upgrades ago...as I recall some user accounts experienced a bug that admins had to go in and fix.... however it may be best to create a new support thread - often older threads may get ignored when they are "resurrected"... though I tagged Bill for you in my reply, so....
