Finial or knob?

As long as we ALL AGREE that "Sprinkles" are colorful sugary things that go on cupcakes, donuts or ice cream :p and the term should NOT be used in a weather description.

I get so disappointed when I hear a forecast of sprinkles and end up only getting wet... :confused:
