Does anyone have a source for those self mixing applicator tips that come with some packages of two part epoxy? These tips attach to a dual barrel syringe of resin & hardener. They are about 3 or 4 inches long and mix the resin and hardener so that what comes out the tip is ready to apply. It used to be that you got two tips with a syringe, which was hardly enough, but today the package I bought only has one tip. The tips are single use, so I end up wasting most of the adhesive.
My internet searching has not turned up what I need. I did find a package of two tips from JB-Weld, but these are for their 25 ml syringes and the product I have is in a 14 ml package.

I can’t answer. Thread drift. I stopped buying that type (dual barrel) of epoxy for the reason that the epoxy in the tip (of course) solidified and I threw it out. Even with disposable tips, you lose all that is in the tip and it’s considerable. Much easier squirting onto a piece of cardboard, mixing, and applying. I would be interested if there were bottles with 1 inch disposable tips . . .

I like epoxy with 2 1 ratio it is easier to measure. Larger sizes come with pumps. I use AeroMarine products 300/21 my experience is boat building and as a glue.

Any of these fit the bill?

I'll have to check when I can get to my laptop. When I searched I only found tips for larger sizes of syringes.
On a positive note, I was looking on woodcraft.com, and they carry System Three 5 min epoxy in double barrel syringes, and they sell packs of extra mixing tips. So that's probably the way I'll go in the future.

For mixing small amounts of stuff like this I bought a big pack of syringes on Amazon. Can draw up just a small amount, use what you want and squirt the rest back into the container if you want but minimal waste if not. A big sample pack full of different sizes and tips and needles was cheap. The needles are blunted but I don't really use them, just the small tips that go onto the syringe works fine.

If you're going to use third party syringes to measure epoxy, be aware that the silicone in some of the rubber plungers will cause fish-eyes in the epoxy. If it's as an adhesive, no problem, but if it's for filler or finish, fish-eyes ruin the look and are a royal pain to remove.

I often mix quite small as well as large batches of marine epoxy using a balance scale. It does require accurate arithmetic but is precise. Be aware that mixing ratios by weight and by volume usually are different. The small double syringe kits are convenient but quite expensive for small quantities and limited to certain formulations. Pumps are nice but usually dispense at least 1/2 oz. at a time and are prone to clog up or lose their prime if not used frequently. I usually buy general purpose resin in gallon quantities for economy. It has a shelf life of many years and can be mixed with various additives to modify its working properties.
