The sander plan originally came from a Radio Control Model Airplane magazine in about 1966 and the intended use was for surfacing balsa wood for model building. The drum was machined from solid aluminum and sized to use a standard size sheet of sandpaper. The table is hinged on one end and adjusted up or down on the other end. The added features are a vacuum pick up and a disk sander. The stock is fed in against the rotation and if the piece is long enough can be pulled out the far end. The small pieces such as segmented rings can be fed through using a push board with it's contact end cut to conform to the shape of the ring. The first picture is feeding in a work piece, the second is the work piece coming out and the last shows a surfaced segmented ring on the disk sander table as well as one one the outfeed end.
The asking price is $200.00 or best offer and I am located near Park Rapids, MN.
Interested parties could easily pick it up with a pickup truck or a medium sized SUV or van and I could also demonstrate the installing sandpaper.
