Good morning,

First time posting - just passed the admin review gauntlet and was advised to post a “hello” 😊

I have limited woodworking and virtually no wood turning experience apart from high school shop which, in speaking with folks around my age, does not appear to be a unique experience. Just attended my first local symposium, will be joining a local turning group, and am searching for my first lathe by reading through posts here, which have been super informative (thank you!).

That’s it for now, I will return to clandestinely eye-hustling your posts.

Thank you for creating and supporting this space!

With gratitude,

D

Welcome here buddy, what I have found there's one simple rule. 'there is no such thing as a too simple question' ask away the combined talent and experience here is mind boggling here.Oh there's no bad turnings either, just transitional pieces to a higher level of skill.
