Clever! I’ve done plenty of off-axis turning on the wood lathe be never thought of using the metal lathe for art. (could make an interesting holder for a candle.) The use of the 3-jaw chuck like that is interesting but seems limited. The 4-jaw chuck would be more work to set up but could provide more control. Rats, another idea to explore.
