Wife and I attended the Rocky Mountain Symposium and are trying our hand at some basket illusion. We have a question regarding best tip for burning the lines. We have the Walnut Hollow Creative Woodburner (link) below, but the tips seem to be for fine work or flat burning. Any suggestions?

Click on the Optima 1 pen styles on the left side of the page and then scroll down to the 21 A (1/8") and 21 B (3/16") . Use these in conjunction with the D-way 1/8" and 3/16" beading tools. Anything else will just discourage you from doing basket illusions.

I don't think you'll be able to use the Optima tips with your Walnut Hollow unit. From the images, it looks like the handpiece is permanently attached to the woodburning unit, and only uses replaceable tips. Unless PJL makes replaceable tips that fit your handpiece, AND the 21A and 21B are available as replaceable tips, you will need to get a new woodburning unit.
