Yea but when you request a lathe better be prepared to not have what you want. Not complaining, the AAW and other symposiums I've done do an incredible job at setting things up. However sometimes they simply can't get what you want. The worse case for me was asking for a powermatic and getting a Oneway. I had planned sorta for that option but still forgot to bring my #3 morse taper adaptor for the tailstock so had to have my room assistant fine me a drill chuck with a #3 morse taper real quickly. Fortunately I did bring my M33 to 1 1/4x 8 adaptor for the headstock. The best case was getting a Robust instead of the Powermatic. The first time I had turned on one and what a sweet lathe.
