I have an Oliver 25A lathe that has a 1 7/8" 8 tpi spindle and I also have a Oneway stronghold chuck with a 1 /1/2" 8 tpi tappered adapter.

What I need is an adapter that will be Femail 1 7/8" to a male 1 1/2" Can anyone tell me where I can find one? Or some one that can make it for me?

I want to start turning bowls etc, but can not until this adapter is found.

Thanks

Oneway can custom machine a taper-lock adapter for you to replace the current one in the chuck. Shouldn't cost that much. You can call them at

1-800-565-7288 to talk about it.
