Approx. 7.75x2.75. Turned green, hand carved while drying. First time using Osmo Gloss Polyx-oil. Interesting finish. I look forward to trying it more.

15" diameter walnut platter, featuring 39 equally spaced decorative arcs on the rim. This was made from one solid piece of walnut. The arcs were cut using a custom indexing jig.

Made this piece for a talk I'm giving about design and woodturning at YouTube's annual design conference in August. Kept it simple; classic form, walls turned to about 1/4", and finished with shellac.
