More birdie ornaments. Each is 2" high. Bodies are cherry, and maple. Tops and perches are Walnut. The perches were turned to 3/16" x 1". Finished with Seal-A-Cell.
These started out as ring boxes but now people buy them for baby's first ornament or just to put little gifts in. They're kinda hard to turn because the lid(bottom) fits inside the bell so you can't chuck it the way you would a regular box. Figured Maple and Cocobolo finish with Lacquer and wax.
Star and Base both turned from Mahogany. 12" tall. 6" wide. Finished with walnut oil. Base is heavily undercut to get the total weight under 4 ounces.
These have cherry bodies, turned 4 times. The finials and icicles are walnut and ash. They are about 8 inches long.
